Position Profile:
- Position runs Tuesday to Saturday, 1000 to 2200 Start
- Start times might vary depending on freight volumes
- Approximately 80% city and 20% highway driving
- May include loads going to London, Belleville, Trenton and Kingston
- Possible switches to Sudbury, Comber and Sault Ste. Marie
- Driver might occasionally be required to sleep in their truck overnight
- Driver assist/unloading will be required
- Regional work will be required
- Additional work might be available upon request
- Ontario City JPC Contract applies
Candidate Profile:
- Owner-operator with tractor-trailer experience
- Tractor must be equipped with a DEF system
- Valid Class 1/AZ License is required
- Must have CP Rail and container experience
- Must have reefer experience
- Must be able to haul all commodities; including meat and alcohol
- Must be able to lift boxes weighing up to 50 lb.
- Reliable, flexible and punctual
- Strong communication skills
- Values safety
