AGT Foods is seeking a Treasury and Risk Accountant to join our Regina Head Office team.

Working at the Regina Head Office, the Treasury and Risk Accountant will be a key part of the treasury process including factoring, bank transfers and foreign exchange. This position will have visibility into the cash management at a global company and will focus on key areas of risk.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Administrator on numerous bank accounts

· Correspond with bank on numerous financial initiatives including draw downs, LIBOR swaps, etc.

· Coordinate / complete weekly factoring submissions with subsidiaries and the bank

· Coordinate and consolidate cash flow management submissions from subsidiaries

· Ensure interest, distributions and dividends are completed in accordance with scheduled dates

· Update hedge accounting tracking workbooks daily

· Book foreign exchange contracts with counterparties

· Correspond with internal and external counterparties to ensure complete and accurate submissions for insurance and property taxes

· Prepare various journal entries

· Other duties as assigned

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

· Post-secondary education is required, preferably somebody who is interested in pursuing a CPA designation or is already enrolled in the program

· Equivalent Treasury and Risk experience may also be considered

· Agricultural experience considered an asset

· Proficient in all aspects of the Microsoft platform including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Dynamics

· Willing to work as part of a team to accomplish group goals

· Self-starter who is detail oriented
