We are seeking an Accounting Clerk provide support to our Accounting Team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will work alongside the Accounting Team and report to the Controller. Further details are below;

Responsibilities:

- Reconciling statements from our insurance carriers to verify the accuracy of our billings

- Investigating and correcting billing discrepancies in coordination with our service teams

- Recording and tracking receipts from our insurance carriers on a timely basis

- Maintaining organized files for statements from insurance companies for an audit trail

- Maintaining the relationship of McDougall Insurance to our insurance carriers through timely and professional communication

- Providing back up for payments to insurance carriers

- Assistance with accounting department functions, projects and reconciliations as needed

Qualifications:

- College diploma in accounting or administration, or equivalent experience

- High degree of attention to detail and analytical skills

- Ability to work independently

- Strong time management and organization skills

- Experience in an insurance environment considered an asset
