The candidate for will have a hands-on approach to daily management of the accounting function.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of monthly financial statements
• Maintenance of job cost system and related analysis
• Staff supervision and special projects as required

Requirements

• Recognized designation (C.A, C.G.A, C.M.A, C.P.A)
• Demonstrate ability to work with large volumes of data and analyzing information
• Very detailed oriented and a high level of accuracy and thoroughness
• Proficient computer related skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and accurate data entry skills
• Strong organizational, multitasking and accounting abilities
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
• Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is an asset
