We are a boutique, full-service, public accounting firm based in Toronto, Canada. In addition to our accounting and tax services, we also provide a wide range of advisory services to our business and individual clients. We support our clients through every step of their business cycle. Our clients are in many different industries such as dentistry, medicine, law, real estate, retail and manufacturing.
We are currently searching for a Supervisor/Manager for our North York office. As an integral member of our team, the Supervisor/Manager will:
· Prepare complex Compilation and Review Engagement financial statements and supporting working papers
· Supervise and train junior staff
· Review financial statements, working papers and tax returns
· Prepare complex corporate and personal tax returns
· Respond to various queries and requests from clients
· Ensure ASPE is being adhered to appropriately
Qualifications:
· CPA designation or significant process toward obtainment of designation
· 5 years of recent Canadian Accounting experience at a Canadian Public Accounting firm
· Excellent working knowledge of Caseware and Tax Prep/Profile
· Advanced knowledge of Canadian ASPE and financial statement disclosure
· Strong financial acumen and analytical agility
· Detail oriented, organized and able to meet tight deadlines
· Self-motivated, results driven, prefers to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $75,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
- North York, ON M3J 3H7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Public Accounting at a Canadian Public Accounting firm: 3 years (preferred)
- Compilation / Review Engagement: 2 years (preferred)
- Caseware: 2 years (preferred)
- Taxprep / Profile: 2 years (preferred)
