We are a locally owned public accounting company supporting employees in the Prince George and Quesnel area. We are searching for the right candidate to join our fun and fantastic firm in Quesnel! We currently have an opening for an accounting technician.

The ideal candidate should have experience in:

· 2-3 years’ relevant work experience with exposure to a variety of industries, preferably in a multi-client environment

· Accounting/business diploma/certificate or equivalent work experience

· Completing payroll and preparing payroll remittances for the Canada Revenue Agency and WorkSafe BC

· Processing vendor accounts payable invoices and reconciliations to third party invoice statements

· Processing client accounts receivable invoices and tracking accounts receivable listings

· Bank and credit card reconciliations

· GST remittances

· Preparation of year end working paper files

· Preparation of corporate income tax returns

· Sage Accounting and Quickbooks software

· Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software

· Caseware software

· Ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple projects in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent client service skills and communication

Salary: $55,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
