Accounts Payable Clerk
Fast Genetics is currently seeking a highly motivated person to fill a full-time Accounts Payable Clerk position based in its Saskatoon, SK office. This position will be responsible for processing all accounts payable for Fast Genetics’ US-based partner Acuity.
This position will report to the Senior Manager of Accounting and Finance.
This position will include the following responsibilities and day-to-day functions, but is not limited to:

• Process and enter invoices for payment, match invoices with purchase orders, and check for accuracy,
• Code, enter, verify, and reconcile account payable transactions,
• Analyze/interpret data and take appropriate action,
• Perform other accounting functions, duties, and projects as required,
• Provide additional accounting support to the team as required.

The successful candidate would ideally possess the following experience and qualifications:

• 1+ years of experience in an accounting environment,
• Strong MS Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word),
• Strong organization skills and attention to detail,
• Excellent verbal and written communication,
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills,
• Proven ability to multi-task in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment.
