DESCRIPTION

In line with our values of collaboration and integrity, we are seeking for a supervisor to contribute to the success of our organization. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinate the day-to-day activities of the AR and AP team (4 people) ;
  • Manage team’s performance, including goal setting, regular feedback, performance reviews, talent management, etc ;
  • Process Month-end closing: AP, AR, Purchasing; Journal entries; reconciliations.
  • Execute cheque runs, EFT runs and wire payments ;
  • Manage sales tax calculations and remittances
  • Be the main contact with the bank for daily issues
  • Document internal procedures
  • Execute Month-end and Year-end audit processes
  • Take charge of the Insurance file (renewal and support during the year) ;
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders ;
  • Develop knowledge of Project Accounting ;
  • Promote health and safety practices in a responsible and proactive manner and ensure that all relevant safety standards are met.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • College or University undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Three (3) years relevant experience

  • Leadership and conflict resolution
  • Team player, curious and focused on process improvement.
  • Resilience, Adaptability to changing priorities.
  • Fluency in English and in French (written and spoken)
