Job Requirements:
In order to be considered for this position, your application must clearly demonstrate how you meet the education and experience as outlined below:

  • Degree in Social Sciences, Sociology, Psychology or related field and a minimum of one year of experience assessing eligibility and using discretion in rendering decisions or, an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • .Experience weighing and analyzing evidence and documenting conclusions
  • Experience writing various types of summaries, reports and or correspondence.
  • Experience applying the principles of adjudication and administrative fairness.

Preference may be given to candidates with the following:

  • Preference may be given to applicants with experience making decisions under the Employment and Assistance Act and/or the Employment and Assistance for Persons with Disabilities Act and/or using the integrated case management system (ICM).
  • Preference may be given to applicants with one or more years weighing and analyzing evidence and documenting conclusions, writing various types of summaries, reports and or correspondence, and applying the principles of adjudication and administrative fairness.
