Brandt is currently looking to fill a Senior Digital Advertising Specialist position in our Regina, SK location.

This position is responsible for sculpting the growth of our digital ads strategy within Brandt’s in-house marketing agency. This position will also provide coaching and mentorship to other digital advertising specialists on the team, while still jumping in to create, manage, optimize, and report on digital advertising campaigns for Brandt’s internal portfolios.

You will work closely with the Advertising Account Management team as well as other key internal stakeholders to provide strategic recommendations to effectively execute advertising campaigns, report on their success, and provide guidance and recommendations on how to increase value while decreasing per unit cost for Brandt’s advertising efforts.

An effective Senior Digital Advertising Specialist can develop ad campaign strategies across multiple digital platforms based on the portfolio’s needs and objectives, guide stakeholders in defining their goals, measurement strategy and requirements to support business objectives, and improve customer acquisition and retention—while also coaching and helping their team members to do the same.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Take a leading role with a team of digital advertising specialists to help them continually grow their skill set to deliver better results for every campaign.
  • Improve digital advertising stakeholder experience and create engaged and happy stakeholders.
  • Guide internal stakeholders in defining their goals—as well as measurement strategy and requirements—to support their portfolio’s business objectives.
  • Work with fellow team members on escalations, including joining calls and meetings from a digital advertising leadership representative.
  • Create, monitor, and optimize paid digital advertising campaigns – on Google Ads, Meta, Twitter, LinkedIn, others as required - to maximize value per advertising dollar spent, in collaboration with other Digital Advertising Specialists.
  • Recommend and facilitate the ongoing training of team members as needed to help them perform their duties at the highest level.
  • Coordinate cooperative advertising campaigns (example: SEM keyword targeting) with Brandt’s OEM suppliers (John Deere, Topcon, Peterbilt, etc.) to reduce inflated and overlapping advertising spend.
  • Track key advertising metrics (CTR, CPM, Impressions, total spend, bounce rate, conversion rate, others to-be-determined) and provide reports to key stakeholders on a regular basis.
  • Analyze campaign data and report on recommendations and strategy.
  • Maintain knowledge of emerging digital advertising trends and technology and be the go-to person internally for understanding which trends are important to Brandt’s business.
  • Assist fellow digital advertising team members on the following:
    • Lead the charge in tactic selection, media mix and optimization.
    • Own and manage Brandt’s Google Ads (Search, Display & Video), YouTube Ads, Bing Ads, and any other future digital advertising channels as agreed to by the Director of Media.
    • Manage ad budgets, A/B testing ad creatives, keyword research, setting up audiences, and optimizing for conversions and KPIs.
    • Conduct customer and market research for each advertising campaign to ensure campaigns reach the desired audience.
    • Work closely with internal team (media planner, advertising account managers, creative team, brand voice team, multimedia team, and product marketing managers) to coordinate all Google Ads, YouTube Ads, and any future channel advertising efforts for the company.
    • Coordinate digital advertising efforts with Brandt’s Content Marketing Specialists as required.
    • Manage UTM tracking codes and other ad tracking technologies to ensure advertising campaigns are properly tracked throughout the buyer’s journey.
    • Contribute to and manage large, complex media plans involving large advertising budgets.

Required Skills
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including experience in customer service, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication, and conflict resolution.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated expertise in search engine marketing (SEM), PPC display advertising, and social media advertising.
  • Ability to translate skills to other employees through training and mentoring.
  • Thorough understanding of today’s digital marketing landscape.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong familiarity with Brandt’s products, services, markets, and customer segments.
  • Adaptable and quick to learn new processes and tools, demonstrating strong technical & operational capabilities.
  • Strong sense of decisiveness and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with the necessary technology, including using computers, software applications, phone systems, etc.


Required Experience
  • 3+ years' experience in digital marketing with a solid understanding of digital advertising (Google Ads, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads).
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field is preferred.
