JOB DESCRIPTION: AIRCRAFT MATERIALS COORDINATOR

Seeking an individual to be responsible for the overall inflow and outflow of all parts inventory by efficiently sourcing parts and packaging while maintaining inventory of aircraft tools, parts, and shop supplies.

WORK HOURS: 10-hour shifts, on a four-day scheduled week.

LOCATION: Richmond, B.C.

TERM: Full-Time Regular

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and control parts inventory and perform periodic parts inventory audits.
  • Source cost-effective alternatives to obtain quality products at an appropriate price.
  • Consideration of optimizing cost and storage space.
  • Generate quotes, sales orders, packing slips, invoices, shipping requests and other supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate shipment and related documentation when necessary.
  • Professionally assist customers with the highest level of customer service
  • Create ads and facilitate sales of overstock items.
  • Respond to all allocated sales inquiries in a prompt and effective fashion.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Experience as an aviation shop/parts coordinator.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines.
  • Ability to source parts and packaging in cost-effective matter.
  • Communicate well with others.
