Alarm/Card Access Technician Job at SSI
Responsibilities:
- Knowledge and safe installation of various security systems Ex: CCTV camera systems, Alarm Systems, Intercoms, Access Control Systems, etc.
- Experience running cables, installing and servicing field devices & programming.
- Using appropriate hand and power tools as required.
- Troubleshooting technical problems related to the customer's products and services.
- Testing and repairing security system deficiencies as required.
- Handle customer complaints in a timely, appropriate and professional manner.
- Documenting and maintaining accurate records of service calls and work performed.
- Maintaining high levels of prodcut and service knowledge.
- Maintaining the Health & Safety of the workplace and then client expectations on each respective jobsite.
Qualifications:
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong computer and networking skills as well as stong attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand manuals and documentation packages.
- Valid G Driver's License and clean driving record.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demostrate aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Good analytical, organizational and probelm-solving skills.
- Experience in installation, servicing and troubleshooting DSC, Alarm.com, CCTV & KANTECH equipment is considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently as well in a group environment.
- Criminal Record (at your expense).
