Arborist Crew Leader
Experience Level:
Four years of increasingly responsible arboriculture, tree pruning and tree removal experience.
Recommended Training:
- TCIA Tree Care Academy – Crew Leader, Tree Care Specialist, Aerial Lift Specialist, Electrical Hazard Awareness Program, Aerial Rescue Training Program, Tree Climber Specialist, Ground Operations Specialist, Chainsaw Specialist, Chipper Operator Specialist, Tree Care Apprentice
- IHSA Utility Line Clearing Technician Proficiency Utility Arborist
- Traffic Control – Temporary Work Zones (Book 7)
- Optional TCIA Tree Care Academy Specialties – SRT Climber Specialist, Compact Lift Specialist, Tree Care Safety Specialist
Recommended Licenses or Certificates:
- International Society of Arboriculture Certified Arborist
- Certified Arborist 444A and/or Certified Utility Arborist 444B
- Ministry of Transportation Class D driver’s license with Z Endorsement
- First Aid & CPR Certificate
- Ontario Pesticide Applicators License (Landscape)
- Ministry of Labour - Working at Heights Training Program Standard equivalent
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
