We are a busy company that specializes in providing service work for our prestigious clients’ pool and spa equipment. We service Saskatoon and surrounding areas and are looking to add an seasonal assistant technician to our team. We are interested in people that are positive, reliable, energetic with good work ethics and who wants to take learning opportunities to advance within the company. No prior experience needed. Elementary understanding of plumbing and electricity would help succeed in this role.

JOB DUTIES

- Helping haul wet pool filters from backyards to truck, and into shop.

- Assisting with pool openings.

- Helping with removal and installation of winter covers.

- Installation of pool lights.

- Bouncing between senior technicians and lending a hand for two person jobs.

- Helping with extra manual labor (i.e. Digging for breakouts, hauling filters, emptying and removing sand filters)

- Delivering extra parts to technicians if needed.

· Detail oriented (filling out work orders on time and reliably)

· Attention to detail and learning about our brands

· Tow a trailer, forwards and backwards.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities.

· Fast paced, ability to lift min. 50 – 90 lbs.

· Follow directions from the service manager and stay task focused

· Repetitive tasks; bending, lifting, kneeling

· Physically demanding with long flexible working hours

· Working outside in all weather conditions

· Worksites include various locations in and around Saskatoon

Qualifications.

· Strong attention to detail and quality completion

· Ability to learn and problem solve

· Work independently and reliably

· Valid Class 5 Drivers License – No exceptions

Compensation

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $16-18 per hour starting
