We manufacture gravel products for in-house concrete production and construction/mining applications. With our wide variety of portable equipment and power units we are able to crush a variety of products wherever required by our Customers. With a strong equipment fleet backing our operation we have the ability to crush material from mine rock and stone, to asphalt and construction rubble. The Position

Custom Concrete has an immediate opening for a Truck and Coach or Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team!

As a transportation company, our main focus is safety; and our biggest requirement for all of our employees. We are looking for a positive, dedicated and experienced Mechanic to join our team.

Our mechanics are responsible for performing the following on company vehicles and equipment:

  • inspections
  • major repairs
  • minor repairs
  • modifications and overhauls
  • Troubleshoot, service and repair/replace the following: electrical and electronic systems, diesel engines, transmissions, steering and suspension, brake systems, hydraulic systems, fuel and emission systems, cooling and heating systems
  • Perform maintenance as per assigned work orders
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications
  • Welding/Torch cutting will be required
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Maintain a safe and orderly working environment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Truck and Coach Mechanic and/or 2 years as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic
  • Physically fit, with the ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs on a regular basis
  • Able to work at heights
  • Able to handle physical demands of the job
  • Able to work outside and in all weather conditions
  • Long hours may be required; which may include weekends or holidays.
