Automotive Technician
Looking for a full time Automotive Technician for our OK Tire Arlington location.
The Position:
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems including fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drivetrain, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
- Perform scheduled maintenance service, such as oil changes, lubrication and tune ups
- Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunctions.
- Test drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using equipment such as infrared engine analyzers, compression gauges, and computerized diagnostic devices.
- Check various filters and fluids on the vehicle
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on a daily basis.
- Perform general shop duties.
Our Ideal Candidate will possess:
- A valid Manitoba Vehicle Safety Inspection Mechanic number
- A valid Driver’s Licence.
- Ability to work full time day hours, and possible overtime/weekends.
- An understanding of the automotive industry
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- A min 5 years experience as a Technician
- Ability to complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Profinciney in Electrical Diagnostics an asset
- Wage to be determined by Mechanical Skills/Training
