Our banquet team plays a pivotal role in ensuring our reputation for outstanding events, and we're currently seeking a dedicated Banquet Server to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and set up banquet rooms according to specified plans, including table arrangements, decorations, table linens, table settings, etc.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Anticipate and attend to guests' needs, respond to inquiries, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Assist in the assembly and breakdown of banquet displays and decorations.
  • Clear tables and clean banquet areas after events, ensuring spaces are ready for future use.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of banquet spaces, server stations, and service equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with kitchen and event planning teams to ensure smooth operation of events.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a banquet server role or similar position in a hotel or related establishment is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple tasks and maintaining professionalism.
  • Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items and standing for long periods.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • ProServe certification is an asset, but not required.
