We are looking for an experienced professional Bookkeeper to join our team. You will be working with a dedicated team of financial professionals including Bookkeepers, Accountants & Administrators. The team works very well together in a friendly environment.

What you bring to the table:

- 2-3 years of bookeeping experience.

- Excellent communication skills.

- Able to interact well with others.

- Experience working in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment

- Great capacity for collaboration and taking initiative

- You like to work independently and are proactive by nature

- Be comfortable with computer systems

- Positive attitude and a team player mindset

Job responsibilities :

  • Reconciling bank statements and accounting records with internal controls
  • Responsible for maintaining financial records including invoices, receipts and payments
  • Handle the computerized GL Accounting Program
  • Preparation of monthly financial reports and reconciliation of accounts
  • Perform multiple aspects of the bookkeeping process including journal entries, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
  • Preparation of GST/QST and other tax related reports
  • Prepare Trial Balance and adjustments
  • Perform ad hoc analysis analysis as requested
  • Preparation of cheques
  • Monitoring of daily company cash flow
  • Other duties and functions as requested by Management, Head Bookkeeper & Accounting Manager
