ABOUT THE ROLE

The Business Innovation Associate under the direct supervision of the Innovation lead; Designs, produces, and analyses clear and concise client specific requirements for multiple business projects. And supports the lead innovation.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Lead the assessment of business needs utilizing a structured requirements process (gathering, analyzing, documenting, and managing changes) to prioritize immediate business needs and recommends options, risks, and cost vs. benefits.
  • Capture clearly in simple language, business requirements to technical requirements for review by our internal IT partners.
  • Collaborate externally with pharma IT, Pharma medical, pharma legal, finance, marketing and patient support programs leads, subject matter experts.
  • Collaborate Internally with, IT partners, business applications manager, innovation leads, patient support programs, marketing, finance.
  • Analyze the viability of the solution to meet project timelines, and quality. Recommend alternative solutions that meet business needs.
  • Support multiple complex business processes, requiring integration of innovative solutions that may cross multiple functions of the business.
  • Identify existing tools and technologies across the enterprise as part of requirements process.
  • Working with various vendors and project delivery teams ensuring a solution has good, solid, well written requirements that support IT delivery teams to create solutions that align to the requirements.
  • Build relationships, work collaboratively, and resolve problems with people at all levels in the organization.
  • Support all program teams throughout all phases of the project.
  • Drive end to end delivery working with the integrated development, QA and UAT teams ensuring delivery stays on track, defects are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Provide status updates on assigned projects for review on a weekly cadence.

Job Qualification

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

Education

  • Undergraduate degree in a technical area of study (Computer Science, Engineering etc.)
  • 5 - 8 years’ experience as a Business Systems Analyst
  • 2+ years of experience with, business processes, and integrations.
  • 2+ years of experience with technical/Business analysis and API documentation

Experience

  • Experience with healthcare operations and any Hospital Information Systems (HIS) platform/software preferred
  • Good understanding and experience working with System Integration projects, Web applications, Web APIs and Web services
  • Good understanding of Microsoft’s CRM is also considered as an asset
  • Must have: Experience with Software Development Lifecycle methodologies (Waterfall and Agile) and UML tools
  • Ability to compile in details MS visio documentation to support the requirements gathering process.
  • Experience with MS office suite, XL, Visio, Teams
  • Ability to effectively communicate with business and technical staff and provide leadership in managing issues
  • Excellent decision-making, verbal and written communication skills; interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to roll up sleeves and do whatever it takes for a successful delivery of a project.
