Our Dufferin store (4750 Dufferin St) is now hiring Cashier/Customer Service Staff to join our Customer Care Team!

Job Description

  • Greet customers and offer exception customer service; engaging and connecting with the customer to ensure that they have had a positive shopping experience
  • Scan, process and bag customer orders accurately and with care
  • Handle cash and EFT transactions accurately
  • Provide customers with information on our unique items, sales items and up-selling
  • Share customer feedback with management
  • Adhere to SmartServe guidelines when processing alcohol sales
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace, adhering to sanitation policies
  • Additional duties as required

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience working as a Cashier or Service in a grocery store is required
  • SmartServe Certification is required
  • Passionate about customer service; approachable and enjoys helping customers
  • Health and safety orientated adhering to food, safety and sanitation standards
  • Excellent manual dexterity; comfortable standing, bending, walking and light lifting for long periods of time
  • Open availability; must be flexible to work all shifts including days, evenings and weekends. Full-time positions available!
