Nous sommes à la recherche d’un Chef d’équipe en étude d’impact environnementale et gestion de projets, le poste est offert à notre bureau de Québec ou Montréal. Le candidat aura la charge d’une équipe multidisciplinaire d’une vingtaine de personnes et la responsabilité de diriger les opérations, participer au développement des propositions et collaborer sur des projets multidisciplinaires des plus stimulants.

L’équipe regroupe des professionnels, ingénieurs et techniciens de tous les niveaux et participant à des projets majeurs dans le domaine des infrastructures, énergie renouvelable, développement industriel et minier, etc. Notre groupe collabore activement sur différents projets majeurs et structurants au Québec, tel que la déconstruction du pont Champlain, le Nouveau pont Samuel-De Champlain, le Réseau express métropolitain (REM), le terminal portuaire de Contrecœur, etc.

Quelle sera votre contribution dans l’équipe ?

Sous l’autorité de la directrice Environnement, permis et autorisations environnementales basée à Toronto, vous aurez à diriger et coordonner les activités opérationnelles d’une équipe dynamique d’une vingtaine d’employés(e)s au Québec.

• Gérer une équipe de professionnel (les) et ingénieur(es) et implanter les méthodes et procédures selon les normes corporatives;

• Gérer la charge de travail, répartition en fonction des besoins techniques et des spécifications de projet;

• Assurer la direction de projets (Étude d’impact environnementale, gestion d’offres à commande, etc.);

• Participer activement à la préparation de propositions de services (stratégie, rencontre client, proposition financière);

• Participer activement au développement des employés du département afin de maintenir une expertise de renommé en évaluation environnementale au Québec;

• Planifier et diriger la mobilisation et démobilisation du personnel du bureau afin d’assurer la disponibilité de la main-d’œuvre et des ressources clés;

• Fixer et gérer les objectifs de l’équipe en place et veiller à la responsabilisation des employés;

• Maintenir un haut niveau de compétences par la formation et le mentorat ainsi que le recrutement de personnel qualifié en fonction des besoins des projets;

• Établir et maintenir un climat favorable à l’application des pratiques éthiques et professionnelles dans l’exécution des mandats;

• S’assurer de la satisfaction des clients et du respect des services offerts, livrables, budgets et échéanciers;

• Assurer la coordination inter disciplinaire et avec les différents intervenants impliqués.

Que recherchons-nous ?

• Baccalauréat ou Maitrise dans un domaine liée à l’environnement;

• Entre 10 à 15 années d’expérience pertinente, dont un minimum de 10 années d’expérience en évaluation environnementale;

• Membre de l’Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (un atout);

• Formation additionnelle en gestion de projet (PMP, MGP ou autre) ou en gestion (MBA), un atout;

• Habiletés en développement des affaires et relations avec les clients;

• Être reconnu pour son leadership mobilisateur et vos excellentes relations interpersonnelles et tout en assurant un haut niveau d’efficacité et d’efficience;

• Bilingue français/anglais (fonctionnel dans le cadre de discussions);

• Expérience dans la gestion des processus d’offres de services;

• Capacité à travailler dans un contexte en plein changement;

• Connaissances techniques reconnues.

We are looking for a Team Lead for the Environmental Assessment and Project Management (EAPM) department, the position is offered in our Quebec City or Montreal office. How will you contribute to the team?

Reporting to the Director of Environmental Permiting and Management based in Toronto, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating the operational activities of a dynamic team of up to 20 employees in Quebec.

• Manage a team of professionals and engineers and implement methods and procedures according to corporate standards;

• Manage the workload, distribution according to technical needs and project specifications;

• Ensure the direction of projects (environmental impact study, management of standing offers, etc.);

• Actively participate in the preparation of service proposals (strategy, client meeting, financial proposal);

• Maintain a high level of competency through training and mentoring as well as recruiting qualified personnel based on project needs;

• Establish and maintain an environment that facilitates ethical and professional practices in the execution of mandates;

• Ensure client satisfaction and compliance with services offered, deliverables, budgets and deadlines;

• Ensure interdisciplinary coordination with the various stakeholders involved.

What will you contribute?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a field related to environment;

• Between 10 and 15 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental impact assessment;

• Member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec (an asset);

• Additional training in project management (PMP, MGP or other) or in management (MBA), an asset;

• Ability in business development and customer relations;

• Be recognized for your leadership and excellent interpersonal skills while ensuring a high level of efficiency and effectiveness;

• Bilingual French/English (functional in discussions);

• Experience in managing service offering processes;

• Ability to work in a changing environment;

• Proven technical knowledge.
