We are looking for a CHEF DE CUISINE to join our team at after seven. This is an exciting opportunity to join a passionate hospitality company driven by providing memorable experiences in downtown Toronto and beyond.
As a Chef de Cuisine, you will help create and execute a food program for bar after seven.
Our candidates must have a passion for cooking quality dishes from scratch, and take pride leading our team of cooks in the execution of our fresh, local ingredient driven food program.
Duties, Responsibilities & Expectations
- Have a firm understanding and ability to manage food cost, labour, waste, and scheduling
- Have extensive experience leading a kitchen team
- Communicate with team members in a professional, confident, and kind manner
- Lead by example: you're the solid backbone of busy services and you handle it with grace and gravity
- Understand all layout procedures constructed by FOH
- Can manage and control product orders and par levels
- The ability to train, monitor and mentor others
- Very strong level of attention to detail
- Contribute creatively and productively to the menu as we change with the seasons and changes in product availability
- Are a master at creating schedules and managing staff requests, talent, and availability

Salary: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
