Full Job Description

Qualifications

• Experience caring for young children
• First aid and cpr training preferred
• Drivers license
• English spoken and written
• Ability to multi task with minimal supervision
• Be physically able to lift and carry 2 yr old when required
• Reliable and patient

Children's Ages

• School age (8 years) - attends school ~8-3 in Dickensfield
• Kindergarten (5 years) - attends school ~8-11
• Toddler (2 yr) - attends daycare Tuesdays and Thursdays ~9-4 in Thickwood

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, loving, and stimulating environment for the children. Children should be encouraged to have fun indoors and outdoors, every day.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks
• Dress the children and teach them to dress themselves
• Diapering and toilet training
• Providing and instructing children in personal hygiene and social development
• Perform light housekeeping and clean up duties - Normally, in charge of tidying areas that the children have played and had meals
• Work together with the family on appropriate rules and discipline
• Care for children when they are sick

• Supervise and care for children
• Organize activities such as games and outings for children
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Prepare infants and children for rest periods
• Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents
