Role & Responsibilities

We are looking for a short video editor with graphic design experience. The completed videos will be published on various social media such as Red Book, TikTok, Douyin Your duties include: • Create promotional posters for marketing campaign with design software or web-based designing tools such as Canva • Design compelling video thumbnails for social media short videos. • Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the video, input music, subtitles, graphics and effects. • Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process • Upload completed videos to social media platforms timely. • Reply comments and lead inquiries to connect with cusomter services. • Undertake other design-related tasks as assigned. What you bring • Experience editing short social media videos like Tik Tok, Youtube, Little Red Book, Wechat channels etc. • Experience in graphic design. • Skilled in using one of the major video editing suites (e.g. CapCut, Premiere, After Effects and Final Cut) • Skillful in adding sound effects and audio to enhance the mood, using filters. • Keeping branding (colours, fonts) consistent throughout the content • Familiar with basic shooting by a digital camera • Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio • Creative mind and storytelling skills • Work with the team to ensure content is met for promotional blogs and posts. • Excellent writing and editing skills in Mandarin, fluent in English • The Location This position will be primarily working from our office located in Richmond Hill (West Beaver Creek) Interested?
