Our Opportunity
As the successful candidate you will be responsible for producing infrastructure layout and detail drawings, while adhering to company procedures, engineering criteria, design standards and applicable codes. You will work using AutoCAD and interface regularly with other disciplines, vendors and clients. Field visits to site may be required as well as a solid commitment to fostering and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.
Requirements
- Diploma of Technology in a civil program;
- 5 or more years of design experience using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, as well as layout and as-built experience;
- Experienced in municipal or subdivision site development engineering design;
- Knowledgeable in preparation of conceptual and final grading, servicing and road design;
- Preference will be given to candidates with Industrial survey experience;
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplinary environment;
- Membership with ASET would be an asset;
- Good organizational skills, technical competence and strong attention to detail.
