Job Summary

Bring your strong administrative experience and superior client service skills to this position

The WorkBC Contact Centre is responsible for responding to WorkBC related enquiries, posting job ads to the Job Bank job board, and providing timely, citizen-centered LMI-based tools, products and services for students, employers, job seekers, educators, and government.

Job Requirements:

  • Education and Experience:
  • Secondary school graduation (Grade 12) or equivalent (GED).
  • Minimum one (1) year of clerical/administrative support experience.
  • Experience trouble shooting client user problems for one or more of the following web browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Internet Explorer.
  • Experience and/or training in keyboarding, data entry, internet research, and other standard computer applications.
  • Experience providing website technical support to clients through various digital channels.
  • Minimum six (6) months experience providing information or services to clients.

Preference may be given for:

  • Contact centre experience.
  • Applicants who are bilingual in English and French.

About this Position:
There are (2) permanent full time positions available.
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent vacancies.
Although this position has some onsite office-based requirements, a flexible/hybrid telework agreement may be available as an option where individuals have sufficient cellular coverage and stable high speed internet coverage for video conferencing.
