Job Description

As a Senior Automotive Counter Person, you will be our expert auto parts specialist, answering customer phone calls, searching for products, locating them in our inventory and selling auto parts to our commercial clients! In addition, you will help us achieve our sales goals and improve your store's profitability. Internally, you will be known as our Commercial Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively look for sales opportunities
  • Lookup vehicle parts
  • Answer customer phone calls
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Assist in collecting A/R balances and applying payments
  • Manage our delivery fleet.
  • Review delivery logs, vehicle inspection forms and schedule vehicle maintenance when necessary.
  • Ensuring that loss prevention policies are followed.
  • Achieve sales targets
  • Attend vendor meetings
  • Build a network of second source suppliers.
Required Skills and Knowledge
  • Extensive experience and knowledge of the automotive aftermarket parts industry is a must!
  • Knowledge of automotive operating systems, including electronic catalogue lookup
  • Previous customer service experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to stand for up to 8 hours/shift
  • Capable of lifting and moving merchandise up to and including 50 pounds
  • Automotive technician or parts technician experience is an asset
