Canem is currently seeking All Levels Electrician Apprentices and Journeymen to join our team in Red Deer, AB with immediate start dates.

Standard shifts are Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day however overtime and weekend work may be required as per job site requirements.

Wages are competitive and reflective of credentials. Health and dental benefits provided as well as matching RRSP.

Job Duties:

  • Including but not limited to:
  • Conduit Installation
  • Wire Pulling
  • Distribution set up
  • Fire Alarm
  • Data System installations
  • Security installations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with the electrical trade (pre-apprenticeship program or 1st year apprenticeship school)
  • Knowledge of industry products, materials, practices, and standards
  • Enthusiasm to learning and being a part of a positive team atmosphere
  • Willingness to learn and develop
  • Good communication skills e.g. listening and speaking
  • Aptitude for problem solving and planning
