Ratloop Games Canada is currently seeking a full-time Community Developer who will work onsite within the
Production Team. This person will provide a strong connection between the gaming community and the internal teams, managing key aspects of communication, asset development and working to expand outreach and game experience.

Responsibilities

  • Development, implementation and execution of marketing activities with the objective of retaining its users and attracting new ones;
  • Define and report on content KPI’s to demonstrate success and ROI of programs and content;
  • Elaboration and management of Ratloop Games Canada and its game’s branding, participation in publicity activities, advertising and customer interaction through feedback collection;
  • Customer relations: establishment & maintenance of a link between the community and the development team;
  • Monitoring: answering questions, maintenance of a positive conversation with the community;
  • Copywriting and creation of content that supports overall strategy: includes websites, videos, game guides, interviews, social content, etc.;
  • Development of graphic elements relating to various social media channels, publications and platforms;

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience managing online communities and developing strategic plans or programs;
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Public Relations, or any other pertinent degree;
  • Extensive knowledge of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Twitch, Tik Tok, Blogs, etc.);
  • Experience with digital asset creation (video, photo, etc.);
  • Loves the social media space and has excellent knowledge of channels, management tools and trends;
  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English (French is an asset);
  • Creative, innovative, resourceful, and excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Strong interest in videogames and gaming;
  • Asset: 1+ years of work experience in a customer service role;
  • Asset: Experience in the gaming industry with multiple gaming platforms and genres
  • Asset: Experience in digital marketing (Facebook ads, SEM, SEO, Google Analytics, Google Adwords)
  • Asset: Experience in running a fan site, participating in an online gaming clan or guild, or forum moderation experience a plus

*Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada and be able to work from our studio in Montreal, Quebec.
