Description

  • Develop a circuit board featuring new technology in order to help R/C car racers get into the hobby and improve their lap times.
  • Develop software for a control system (Multiple I/O)
  • Create an user interface to adjust all available features and settings
  • Work within a team to design an exterior shell that’s durable and ergonomically friendly
  • Work closely with management across the development, testing and manufacturing teams

Compensation, Hours and Locations

3-month contract. Hours are flexible, as long as timelines are being met. Work from home is available, as long as timelines are being met. Field trips will be required into Essex County. Occasional Sunday race day testing but may not be required to be there.

Employee will be rewarded lifetime royalties when the product goes to market. Estimates are $24,000 per 1000 units sold.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in anything related to computer science.
  • Degree must have work term in order to fulfill educational requirements
  • Knowledge of C and C++
  • Knowledge and understanding of motorsports terminology and driver aids
  • Ability to design circurit boards and solder electronic components on PCB
