Evolution Catering is now hiring new team members for the upcoming golf season at our partnered Ponoka Golf Community Golf Club. You will assist with the opening of the halfway snack shack (on-course concession food.)

We are looking for a seasonal Halfway House Attendant to greet all golfers in a warm and courteous manner as they reach the halfway point in their game. You will have a strong culinary background to ensure food is prepared fresh for our members. You will be capable of working independently, including cleaning and restocking the facility as needed. Your focus will be on creating a positive experience for each member.

As a Halfway Hut Attendant, you will provide our guests with friendly, prompt, complete and efficient food and beverage service on the golf course as well as the Halfway Patio.

Ages 18+ Pro serve certified

Core Accountabilities:

• Provide timely, personalized, friendly and efficient food and beverage service

• Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions

• Have full knowledge of all menu items

• Prepare menu items and operate different culinary machinery

• Accurately processes payments and records all sales of food and beverage

• Ensure the server station and surrounding area is clean and tidy

• Must be able/willing to work in multiple or various outlets as required

• Comply with proper security, fire regulation, and all health and safety policies

• Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards

• Assist in packing and/or unpacking inventory, arranging and displaying merchandise

• Assist with inventory at month end in accordance with inventory procedures

• Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in food and beverage an asset

• Preserve certification required

• Positive attitude and excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Alberta (18)

• Ability to give fast and reliable service with product knowledge an asset

• Ability to work flexible hours – weekends and evenings as required

• Must be professional, personable and well-presented

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Part-time hours: 30-40 per week

Salary: From $15.00 per hour
