DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Concrete Lab Technician, your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Testing of concrete: slump and air tests;
  • Cast cylinders for compressive strength and beam moulds;
  • Daily driving to various site locations;
  • Maintaining daily records of all test data;
  • General concrete laboratory duties;
  • Working outside and being exposed to changing weather conditions, and;
  • Other duties as may be assigned from time to time
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Completion of a two or three-year college program in civil engineering technology or a closely related discipline;
  • CCIL certification an asset, but not required;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Good time management and organization skills;
  • Access to a vehicle with full G driver’s license is required with good driving record (Driving abstract required)
  • Ability to lift/move equipment
