We are looking for an experienced and motivated Controller to join our team. As a Controller, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations and reporting of the business. In addition to the hands-on financial functions the role also includes input on operational structure and efficiencies for the business as we continue to grow.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Complete the daily operations of the accounting department, maintaining financial records, overseeing internal controls, and producing financial reports
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures, focusing on cost reduction, revenue enhancement and compliance with applicable rules and regulations
  • Accounts receivable tracking, accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger activities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management
  • Monitor cash flow and ensure accuracy of all financial information
  • Analyze financial data and develop forecasts and budgets to support long-term strategic planning
  • Assist with special projects and financial analysis as needed

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • CPA designation an asset
  • 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Expertise in financial forecasting, budgeting, financial analysis, and financial modeling
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
