What Opportunity Awaits?

Libro has an opening for a passionately accountable Full-time Credit Analyst (Business Banking) currently assigned to support our portfolios throughout the Windsor Essex Lambton Kent Middlesex Region. Working with Relationship Manager(s), the Credit Analyst will complete financial input, analysis and credit submission preparation for our Business Owners. This role manages monthly and annual review processes, as well as identifying business opportunities that help grow the pipeline. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring Libro is able to effectively service our Owners in providing strong underwriting, analysis and risk support - Could you be Libro?

This position is eligible for remote work.

The Epic Human we are looking for will:
Structure and document credit arrangements and identify referral opportunities (including cash management) for Libro’s Business Owners and prospects
Assist Relationship Managers in negotiating terms of credit and appropriately assess risk
Exhibit strong financial industry knowledge and expertise to proactively assess and anticipate Owner needs
Prepare and recommend credit applications (renewals/amendments/new business) to Relationship Managers, ensuring that the application is submitted to the appropriate lending authority
Support Relationship Managers in proactively managing high-risk loans and identifying potential risk issues
Demonstrate strong analytical skills in the areas of balance sheets, cash flow mechanics, and business plans
Provide high quality Owner service in an accurate, timely and professional manner
Show a positive attitude and demonstrate co-operation among fellow staff members.

Qualifications Required

A university degree with related courses in the area of business finance or agriculture
Work experience of 7-10 years; a minimum of 5-7 years of commercial or agricultural experience within a financial institution
Experience identifying problems and gathering information to develop and implement effective solutions
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong knowledge and experience of personal computer applications.
