Are you an energetic, self motivated, fun customer service representative looking for a part time (24hrs a week) position?

Must be available weekends as this position has a set schedule that includes Saturday, Sunday and Monday with working hours of 9am-5pm. There are possibilities for top up with sick and holiday coverage. We are constantly growing so there is room for growth and advancement within the company in the near future. Full time positions do include medical and dental benefits!

As a Storage Specialist, one of your main roles will be to work with our clients to find the very best solutions for their needs. This could include finding the perfect unit size, providing information on how to properly pack and store items, and connecting them with movers and other resources. You would also work with our existing clients to ensure that their storage experience is positive and memorable. Our goal is to ‘help people create space in their lives and make storing easy for them’.

The successful applicant must be customer service focused, energetic, have a self motivated personality, has a fine attention to detail, can work in a team or alone and has to be comfortable talking to people both in person, over the phone and by email. They must be comfortable navigating a computer and experience with computer programs such as word, office and excel are welcomed. As a self storage specialist, your day is spent taking customer info and inputting it into our web based software while doing the move in, upselling merchandise and keeping the facility looking lovely. There is some cleaning involved in the facility that entails bending, squatting and possibly light lifting.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Showing Self-Storage units

Making Collection Calls

Renting Self-Storage Units

Selling merchandise (upsell moving and packing supplies)

Responding to inquiries via emails and online

Answering phone calls

Assisting the facility manager with operations.

Receiving and processing payments

Maintaining a clean office and facility

Performing a facility and locker check

Opening and closing the facility

Stocking merchandise area

Maintaining a clean and safe facility (daily light duty cleaning involved)

Ensuring all rentable storage units are clean and ready to show to potential clients

Provide exceptional customer service

Other duties as assigned

  • Abbotsford, BC V2S 7W7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
