REPORTS TO: Langley Hub Manager

HOURS of WORK: Monday - Wednesday from 8am to 5pm

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Processing orders accurately
  • Provide exceptional customer service, by answering communications on a timely basis
  • Acting as a liaison between the customer or sales representative and purchasing, operations, and finance. Must take initiative to solve customers' issues
  • Daily review of Order Status With Details report
  • Customer Service is the primary contact for information on samples sent to third party laboratories
  • Ensure all orders are shipped on time in coordination with the shipper/receiver
  • Courier - assist with creating and ensuring shipments are packaged, processed and sent out on time.
  • Scheduling and notifying customers of future product deliveries
  • Deal with all customer complaints efficiently and effectively
  • Handling/processing in-store orders via cash, credit, debit transactions
  • Advise purchasing of any stock shortfalls
  • Coordination with sales representatives on: customer requests, issues, pricing, shipment timing, complaints, comments etc.
  • Maintain a strict code of confidentiality

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

  • Good computer skills, advanced knowledge of MS Excel
  • Able to work well under pressure as well as, be polite, friendly and tactful
  • Great communication skills (with customers and other members of the team)
  • Exceptional organization skills
  • Attention to detail is a must

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • College (preferred)
  • 2 years experience (preferred)

LEVEL OF AUTHORIZATION: Key Holder

  • Surrey, BC V3S 3M2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Secondary School (preferred)
