CyberSecurity Specialist (onsite Cambridge, ON) Job at VectorVue

This is an onsite Information Security Consultant role. The successful candidate must be able to commute to the client site 4 days/a week in Cambridge, ON. There is an option to work remotely one day per week.

You will help the enterprise drive to become a more secure and stable environment. You will be the primary technical contact for the client's IT Security activities.

Requirements:

Must have knowledge and experience with:

  • Mcafee Administration - > deploy, configure agent monitoring, build KPI report
  • Manage and maintain security tools & systems: Qualys scanning tool, Splunk configuration/optimization, Datadog system monitoring
  • Develop and Lead security initiatives
  • Internal security assessments - > creating actionable items out of vulnerability assessments
  • Lead SOX compliance activities. Creating standardized work and procedural documentation for the team & end-users
  • General innovations & improvements to improve the client's current security posture

Technical Skills (as many as possible):

1. Qualys

4. Datadog

5. Endpoint AV (McAfee)

6. Firewalls (Palo alto)

7. Certificates/SSL

8. Windows & Linux (RHEL) background

Certifications (nice to have):

  • PCNSE Certification
  • CPP certification
  • PCI certification
  • Oracle Professional Certification
  • MCDBA Certification

Long-term Contract, with a potential extension for multiple years.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Freelance
