MaKami College is a provincially licensed Private Vocational College offering a 3,000 Hour Advanced Clinical Massage Therapy Diploma Program, a Health Care Aide Certificate Program, a Business Administrative Assistant and Medical Office Assistant Diploma Program, a Master Instructor Diploma Program and Alberta Basic Security Training. Due to continuing growth MaKami College currently have an exciting opportunity for experienced Data Entry Clerk to join our team at our Edmonton Campus .
Major Accountabilities/Responsibilities (
Including but not limited to the following):
- Obtain marked exams and assignments from Lead Instructors
- Enter exam marks and assignments into the database and update in students Moodle record
- Ensure that exams and assignments are filed in student files
- Prepare student Diplomas/Unofficial Statement of Marks/Certificates
- Answer student questions from the Tracking email
- Update students on their progress through the course
- Provide CRMTA Administrator with information on student eligibility for insurance coverage
- Direct students to the SSC Supervisor to discuss exam and assignment marks
- Prepare reports on grades and completion rates as required
Education & Skills
- High school or equivalent
- Minimum two years’ experience working in a data entry role within a similar environment
- High attention to detail
- Strong organization skills
- Able to work independently and within a team environment
- Able to work according to established procedure
- Able to manage time effectively and/or suggest strategies for better time management
- Able to sort, file and retrieve necessary information accurately from both electronic and hard copy files
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
- Displays a positive and helpful attitude
