LEGOLAND Discovery Centre Toronto is looking to hire part time Day Porters/Custodians!
We offer $16.50 per hour and a FUN Environment!
Must be available for weekends and closing shifts 2-3 days a week.
About the Role
Our attractions immerse our guests in a world of brilliant themes, loads or fun, and memorable experiences, and our Custodial team takes pride in ensuring that the attraction’s magic is showing through. As a member of the Custodial team you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the attraction, this includes daily upkeep of all public and behind the scenes areas, health and safety, and customer interaction.
Responsibilities

• Empties, cleans, and lines waste receptacles and disposes of trash
• Washes doors, windows, walls, baseboards, and light fixtures
• Safely cleans and mops spills
• Cleans drinking fountains
• Cleans and disinfects restrooms including floors, walls, fixtures and mirrors
• Restocks restroom supplies as necessary
• Reports the need for maintenance and repair
• Observes safe working practices, including maintaining storage areas in a safe condition
• Corrects or reports any safety or fire hazards
• Safely operates a variety of custodian tools, equipment and supplies
• Performs related duties as required or assigned – i.e. open and close of facility systems, technical team assistance as required
• Adhere to all company policies concerning Health and Safety, WHMIS 2018 & GHS regulations

About You

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least six months cleaning experience preferred..
• Experience in a working in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and multi-task as necessary.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Must be flexible and able to work a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, holidays and special events.
