JOB PURPOSE:

The Dietary Aide is responsible for assisting in the preparation and serving of meals-and providing catering services, ensures work areas are maintained in a safe and sanitary condition.

LOCATION: Trillium Court, Kincardine, ON

Job Duties

• Serve meals to residents and guests in a professional and courteous manner;
• Assist in the set up and preparation for service of various items such as beverages, salads, desserts, etc.;
• Set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required;
• Assist with cleaning of dishware, cutlery at the conclusion of each seating as required;
• Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen and dining area as required;
• Assist with catering, and actively participate in special occasions and theme events;
• Assist in the orientation and training of new dietary employees;
• Follow and comply with health and safety legislation and departmental safe job procedures;

Must have

• Food Handler's Certificate
• Previous food services experience
• Completion of secondary school education or equivalent;
• Ability or read, write and follow written and verbal instructions in English
• Vulnerable Sector Check within 6 mons.
• COVID-19 Vaccination

Licence/Certification:

• Food Service Worker Certificate (6 month Program)
• Vulnerable Sector Check within 1 year? (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 per hour
