Position Title: Digital Marketing Specialist

Hourly Rate: $25.00

Location: Hampton, Ontario

Hours: Part Time - 20 hours per week – October 2022 to May 2023 with potential for extension

Are you a digital marketing professional looking for a part time job that allows you to make a positive impact to a small growing company? The Omachron Family of Companies is looking for a Digital Marketing Coordinator to help promote our Plasti-Block™ brand that sells products used for manufacturing and other industrial purposes.

Responsibilities:

- Support maintenance activities across digital

- Write and edit blog posts

- Responsible for creating and updating content on websites and social media platforms

- Help identify, conceptualize, design and execute campaigns

- Communicate and follow up with customers regarding products

- Analyze competitor strategies, Key Performance Indicator targets, website traffic growth opportunity, strategy research, etc.

- Provide support on administrative tasks

- Project work as assigned

- Assist in monitoring active marketing programs and developing ways to improve those campaigns

- Monitoring and creating social media content

- Submit ideas for experimental marketing programs designed to enhance and grow the company's brand

- Using Salesforce to track networks and potential clients

- Duties as assigned

Qualifications

- Ability to creatively write content to engage an intended audience

- Ability to use social & digital media to effectively communicate or respond to others

- Ability to meet deadlines and organize time effectively

- Ability to update websites and social media platforms

- Ability to learn and use a variety of computer applications.

- Familiarity with digital marketing principles such as engagement vs conversion

- Experience with Salesforce, Wix, Shopify sales a strong asset

- Excellent time management and organizational skills-ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines

- Solid knowledge of utilizing Search Engine Optimization (SEO)

- Amazon optimization and online inventory support is an asset

- Experience with major social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest, Snap, etc.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrate a high degree of professionalism and show strong attention to detail

- Basic Design Skills

-Education in related field is considered a strong asset

Although this position will focus on plastic products such as blocks from virgin or recycled plastics, there is potential to work for different products in the future based on skill, desire, and mutual agreement.

This is a hybrid position, allowing flexible hours, you will be expected on site when required by your manager.
