DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL - Relief Support
North York, ON

The Relief Support provides call-in or back-fill support to people supported. They assist with activities of daily living and work within the protocols of the location. They work with other employees on shift to provide supports and services to people. Working within Christian Horizons Service Principles, the Relief Support considers each person’s intrinsic value.

Requirements:

  • Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
  • Confirmation of COVID vaccination
  • Access to reliable transportation

Preferred:

  • 3-6 Months Experience (volunteer or employment)
  • Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field

  • Developmental Services: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • First Aid/CPR Certification (preferred)
