CommoditAg™ by Farmers Edge is the industry's most trusted online marketplace, offering a broad portfolio of quality agricultural products to our customers through an expansive network of fulfillment centers throughout the United States. As we expand to better serve our customers, we are looking for a an experienced, agribusiness channel manager to join our team.

In this role you will be responsible for growing revenue for the company's wholly owned eCommerce subsidiary (CommoditAg™), by developing new B2B relationships, strengthening existing partnerships, expanding the brand nationally and internationally, and overseeing the fulfillment and customer service functions of the business.

Your key contributions will also include:

  • Develop an eCommerce strategy focused on both financial gain and customer satisfaction
  • Provide strategic level insights to the business by conducting market research that identifies new possible markets and emerging customer trends
  • Foster and enhance relationships with both new and existing eCommerce partners, including suppliers and third-party logistics providers
  • Develop and execute plans to expand the 3rd party marketplace and relationships with retailers and co-operatives
  • Leverage a deep understanding of partner businesses to structure agreements and partnerships that meet mutual objectives
  • Oversee all eCommerce operations team members, ensuring that both company and personal objectives are being met
  • Participate in department recruiting and onboarding, and lead the annual performance review process
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, and Product Development to deliver on channel sales strategies
  • Work with Marketing to develop new product go-to-market strategies, execute promotional events, and optimize web conversion and lead generation
  • Develop and manage channel specific KPIs, including revenue targets, web analytics, and department budgets

This role could be a match for you if you have:

  • Post-secondary education in general business, agribusiness, commerce or other relevant field
  • 10+ years of progressive B2B agribusiness sales experience, combined with 5+ years in a leadership role
  • Proven financial acumen, with a track record of developing and nurturing mutually beneficial partnership agreements

You will have the option of working remotely from mostly anywhere in North America. Candidates based in Winnipeg, MB may also choose to work from our Corporate Office.
