Job Description


WHAT'S THE JOB?

Reporting directly to the President of Dexterra and supporting the Vice-President of Dexterra On-Demand, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operation of the mobile facility and building automation services business. You will lead a team of four to five leaders and focus on driving “the middle of the P&L” to ensure sustainable & profitable operation of the business, employee engagement and team technical capabilities, and quality of service delivery with the single-minded goal to deliver exceedingly high customer satisfaction and client retention. Select responsibilities will be to:

  • ensure operational success by monitoring financial performance, customer and employee satisfaction, and client relations while driving continued growth and innovation
  • work with team leaders to implement growth strategies and service delivery plans that effectively translate into tangible client satisfaction results and profitable growth for the division.
  • Implement marketing and business plans that expand Dexterra On-Demand’s span of services and foster organic growth of the business
  • embody Dexterra Group’s values of Accountability, Diversity, Trust, and Partnership in everything you do and focus on your people, your customers, and your clients not only because that is how we grow our business but because it is the right thing to do.

Qualifications


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • You have a University Degree in business and/or mechanical, electrical, or structural engineering
  • A minimum of 10 years business operating experience with direct responsibility for a P&L of no less than $30 million
  • A compassionate people leader, fearless client advocate, and a consummate business professional who has the financial acumen to effectively manage “the middle of the P&L” to reach desired business objectives
  • You have a valid driver’s license, reside in the Greater Toronto Area, and are willing and able to spend up to 30% of your working time traveling in that region.
