POSITION CONTEXT

Contribute to the development and support of collaboration solutions to ensure that they meet the current and future needs of the stakeholders and user community.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Provide 2nd tier support for production services or act as a liaison between Business Subject Matter Experts and other technical teams.

· Lead the implementation of simple enhancements to existing systems that meet business requirements and are aligned with IT orientations:

o gather business requirements

o evaluate feasibility, provide estimates, design solutions, and prepare detailed specifications

o coordinate team effort and participate in developing and implementing the enhancements

· Assess implemented solutions to optimize performance and/or processes.

· Develop functional and technical specifications to meet business requirements.

· Perform the analysis, design, and configuration of collaboration solutions to support the user’s needs, solutions architectures and the security specifications.

· Develop test scenarios and conduct detailed functional and integration testing.

· Perform the configuration and control of system parameters and files to meet business requirements.

· Assist in the development of application documentation, user documentation and training materials

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Education: Undergraduate Degree

Experience: three (3) years’ related experience

OTHER QUALIFYING SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIES:

· knowledge of O365; SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive for Business

· knowledge of Documentum; D2, Captiva,

· Experience in the implementation, development, and support of collaboration solutions

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

· Demonstrated knowledge of functional analysis.

· Self-motivated, autonomous and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

· Programming background or system administrator background (an asset)

· Familiarity with SQL and Java (an asset)

· Knowledge of SOA architecture and Web services implementation (an asset)

· Knowledge of French and English. McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English

communication both verbally and in writing.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $65,000.00-$81,000.00 per year
