Arbutus RV is Vancouver Island’s premier one-stop-shop for everything RV. Meeting the needs of RVers since 1988, Arbutus is Vancouver Island’s largest sales, parts and service team at 7 locations throughout the island.

Who are you?

You have experience with towing and backing up trailers and 5th wheels as well as driving over height and above-average length vehicles. You are equipped with a general knowledge of maintenance and repair. You have a great attitude, welcome an opportunity to be a great teammate, and have a genuine desire to help our guests.

Essential Job Functions:

• Park and move RV units in a timely fashion
• Unit delivery and transfers
• Moves units on lot under direction from sales & service managers
• Assist with lot washes and ensures all units and isles are clean
• Writes work orders, tracks problems and ensures units are in proper working order
• Sweeps, picks up trash and debris, empties garbage cans: keeps lot clean and professional in appearance
• Maintains lot landscaping
• Keeps units and equipment secure from weather
• Maintains physical inventory on a weekly basis
• Maintains a safe and clean work area for guests and coworkers.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned

Essential Job Skills:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience in trailer towing including pre and post-trip inspection and hook up.
• Ability to repair small items and identify problem units
• Class 1 licence or class 5 with Air Brake Endorsement + Heavy Trailer Endorsement
• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending.
• Clean drivers abstract
