Job description

This position has two components :

First, as a driver in a cube van to pickup feedstock throughout the Edmonton area. The products would be picked up from various vendors and delivered to the Stony Plain facility. Once delivered, the driver / laborer would be required to offload the products, shred them, and prepare them for use. The product bins would be rinsed clean, made ready for use, and loaded in to the cube van for the next pickup / delivery run.

Secondly, the driver / laborer would assist with tasks in the facility, and would also assist senior staff with care and maintenance of other facilities located in the Edmonton area.

This role is based out of Annelida's Stony Plain Facility, which operates Monday to Friday, 8AM to 5PM. You will report to the Facility Manager and Production Floor Lead Hand.

This is a labor intensive job at times. Applications must be physically fit, and able to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly through the work day, and able to maneuver wheeled product bins, weighing as much as 80 pounds each.

Summary of tasks:

* Travel to and from customer locations to pick up and drop off product bins using the company cube van.

* Process products once they have been brought to the Stony Plain facility.

* Clean product bins and prepare for the next pick up date.

* Assist staff in the Stony Facility with daily production tasks.

* Assist staff with delivering and distributing feed at other Annelida facilities.

* Possession of a valid CLASS 5 drivers license (non-graduated) is mandatory.

* Clean drivers abstract is mandatory.

* Experience driving a cube van is required.
