Overview:
Location: Brampton, ON / Ingersoll ON (2023) Department: Transportation Reports To: Director of Transportation

Your Role:
Delivery drivers primarily deliver products to Dot Foods customers and pick-up from Dot suppliers. This is an all dock-delivery and pick-up position. Order selectors build pallets for shipments and load/unload trailers using material handling equipment. Additionally you will:
  • Comply with all company, legal and regulatory requirements
  • Read and understand driver load paperwork
  • Safely and efficiently utilize/operate warehouse material handling equipment and other driving equipment
  • Follow our food safety procedures
  • Count inventory
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Role Specifics:
  • Schedule: Full-Time (days TBD). Dispatched as business needs dictates, rest of time work in WH.
  • Environment: Temperature extremes including hot and freezer environment, plus all weather conditions.
  • Job Demands: Ability to lift up to 60 pounds continually during shift. Extensive sitting/walking/standing.
  • Overtime: Occasional overtime as necessary to take care of our customers.

Qualifications:
We Need You To Have:
  • Narrow Aisle Reach Truck and Counter Balance Certification
  • Sufficient vision and hearing necessary to operate powered equipment safely
  • Ability to read, speak, and comprehend the English language
  • AZ License, Clean Abstract
  • 12 months work experience as an AZ driver
  • Medical examiner certificate
  • Ability to pass our physical ability test
We’d Like You To Have:
  • Previous driving experience in the greater Ontario area
  • Prior experience in an environment that promotes safety
  • Leadership experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
