Dominion Equipment & Chemical is a local distributor of cleaning supplies and equipment operating in Brantford for many years. Located at 29 Craig Street in Brantford, we supply customers throughout Southwestern Ontario daily.

We require a part-time Delivery Driver/Warehouse Support person. Your basic schedule will be three (3) days per week; other times you will be needed to work a full 5-day workweek, Monday to Friday, depending on requirements/activities.

Your main duties will be pulling orders, preparing for delivery and delivering orders to various customers. When not scheduled for delivering, you will assist in the warehouse with receiving and other tasks.

Job Details - Delivery Driver/Warehouse Support

• Successful candidate must have previous experience driving professionally and be capable of driving a Sprinter cargo vehicle safely and comfortably
• 7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
• Assemble orders, load vehicle, deliver to various customers in Brantford, Hamilton, Kitchener, Waterloo, London and surrounding areas
• When covering in the Warehouse you will receive goods and, complete required paperwork, put items away in proper locations, help pull orders for drivers, prepare packages for outgoing couriers
• Must be available to work more than 3 days in a week when required.

Qualifications - Delivery Driver/ Warehouse Support

• Safe driver, able to provide a "clear" Driver's abstract
• Previous delivery experience
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions
• Customer service oriented, courteous and pleasant at all times
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail needed, accuracy a must when pulling orders and delivering customer goods
• Reliable transportation to and from Craig Street
• Will live no more than 30 - 40 minutes away from Brantford
• Physically demanding - heavy lifting, repetitive lifting and carrying
• Safety boots required
• Dependable person – willing and able to report to work at short notice
• Police Check will be done

Salary: $17.00-$18.00 per hour
