Child Development Worker/ Child Development Assistant:
Qualifications: Child Development Worker (Level II) / Child Development Assistant (Level I):
Responsibilities:
-works cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors,
-relate openly to families and exchange information daily,
-plan and implement program based on children interest,
-to ensure an atmosphere of warmth and provide pleasing surrounding that are attractive, neat and safe,
-attend weekly planning sessions and monthly staff meeting,
-responsible for the daily cleaning and disinfecting of toys, etc.,
-to supervise outdoor activities (weather permitting),
-to teach children good attitudes towards nutrition, to supervise and set example of correct eating habits and table manners,
-to role model appropriate behaviors and guide children,
-to be flexible and willing to change and to assume additional responsibilities upon request of the director or alternate,
-to enhance the program and expose children to their environment and surrounding by arranging for visitors and extracurricular activities.
Job Type: Part-time
Part-time hours: 30 per week
Salary: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
